About
heuretika is the independent software line of Alex Ojeda Copa, a software, data and AI engineer and social scientist based in Cochabamba, Bolivia.11He holds a master's degree in software engineering (UNIR) and a specialization in computational social science (UC Davis), and has taught at Bolivian universities since 2016.
For more than ten years he has built digital tools for research, civic participation and public policy, more than forty projects in all. The instruments of heuretika come from that work, and from the same frustration every researcher knows: the method is in the books, the data is in five apps, and nothing helps you reason across them.
The rule is simple. Each instrument implements a method someone published and argued over, keeps your work in open files on your own computer, and leaves the thinking to you. If you use an AI agent, you bring it, and you review what it does.
heuretika is small on purpose. There are no investors and no plan to sell your data. The software is paid for by the people who use it.
